Disk Finishing – ECO/EF series

This series of disk finishing units (EF and Eco 9/18) are designed exclusively for wet finishing. They are inexpensive to purchase, easy to maintain and ideally suited to debarring turned and machined parts. These series are designed for medium-sized to large production runs, they are fast and versatile and can be used for a variety of surface finishing tasks. It is available as the ECO 9/18 benchtop model or as the stand-alone version – Easy Finish 9/18/32.

A patented gap adjusting system makes adjusting the gap a child’s play. The gap can easly and quickly be adjusted from 3 mm to 0.4 mm depending on the customer’s requirements.

 

 

 

ECO Maxi Series

The modular concept of the ECO-Maxi makes it ideal for small series production. Their high-tech design makes these machines extremely economical, with savings being as much as 60 % compared to the cost of conventional finishing. To cater for specific applications, the ECO-Maxi is available in the versions “magnetic”, “wet” and “dry” and as a flexible all-rounder, the “basic” model.

  • Clean and bright workpiece surfaces. Completely removes any traces of sanding/grinding and casting skin for perfect results.
  • A surface finish equal in quality to that of manual polishing. Puts a shine even on inaccessible areas of intricate workpieces and completely removes oxidation discoloration and any residual investment material.
  • Flexible in use. This machine type is the first to use three separate or up to three different finishing processes in a single machine.

ECO MAXI “MAGNETIC” SERIES
This machine type is designed exclusively for magnetic polishing applications. This is the preparatory stage for wet finishing and replaces the traditional electrolytic polishing bath. Oxide discolorations and investment material residues are completely removed after approx. 15 – 30 minutes and even inaccessible areas of intricate workpieces are polished to a high shine.

ECO-MAXI “WET” SERIES
Perfect results are obtained after just 3-4 hours. The use of a special “soft” abrasive medium ensures that the surface of the workpiece does not become hardened – reliably preventing the surface from becoming pitted. The results are the complete removal of any traces of sanding/ grinding and casting and clean, bright workpiece surfaces.

ECO-MAXI “DRY” SERIES
Very fine polishing granulates made from walnut shell ensure a perfect surface finish. Material removal is in the micro range. No damage to diamonds, zirconia or pearls in their settings. Processing time for initial polishing approx. 2-3 hours, for final polishing approx. 30 minutes, giving extremely smooth surfaces and a brilliant shine comparable to that achieved by manual polishing.

ECO Mini Series

OTEC’s ECO mini series is unbeatable in terms of cost-effectiveness. This model packs the technology of large industrial disc finishing machines into an amazingly compact format. The patented technology enables the finest granulates to be used, givng a sensational shine comparable to that obtained by manual polishing. In addition, the plastic abrasive medium used prevents any unsightly pitting on the surface of jewelry. A timer makes the machine easy to operate and it works quietly without producing dust.

  • Extremely efficient. It is the smallest and most cost-effective “finishing center” on the market.
  • For wet finishing. The ECO mini “wet” is used mainly for very small, zero or prototype series, for removing casting skin or traces of sanding or grinding. This makes the subsequent polishing stage much simpler and much faster.
  • For dry finishing. The ECO mini “dry” is used mainly for polishing tarnished or worn jewelry.
